Welcome to clothes4boys, the online store for quality childrens clothing, especially for boys. We hope you enjoy shopping with us.We are two mothers (of boys!!) who were tired of trawling around childrenswear shops trying to find clothes that both we, and our kids, liked. It seemed to us that there was plenty of choice for girls, but very little for boys. With this in mind, we set out on a mission to source great clothes designed specifically for boys.

Our mission
We want your shopping experience to be a pleasurable one! We have tried to make the site easy, for even internet novices, to navigate. As we have developed, so has the site. You can now shop by specific age, by designer, or choose specifics, like skate or swimwear. We provide a variety of photographs, including detailed close-ups, as well as measurements for each individual item to ensure you choose the correct items of your son! Our site is secure, so online purchasing is not a worry (according to recent reports, it may well be safer than giving your credit card details in a shop). One added benefit is being able to shop at your convenience, avoid the crowds, and not spend your Saturday shopping with a child who would rather be elsewhere!Our clothes are sourced from around Europe. We set out to provide designers, who whilst well-known and established in their own country, were not widely available locally. The emphasis is on quality and stylish design.We also wanted to address the problem often encountered in shops…..seasonal clothing. Our aim is to provide you with a year round supply of what your boys may need. Just because the weather in England dictates that you may not need shorts in December, or a sweater in June (well actually that's probably a bit more likely!), people do travel and need things out of season. So while you may not find a shop that can sell you these things - we aim to deliver!

How it all began
Fueled by the frustration of not being able to find clothes for our boys, that didn't involve spending huge amounts of money, or them wearing clothes with large logos emblazoned on them so they all looked the same, we started planning our site.Kathy had experience with setting up websites, and Marianne had been involved in childrenswear, so together we had the confidence to make this work! We researched, planned, designed, sourced clothes, and finally went online in December 2001. Since then we have continually modified the site to make shopping as easy as possible, and added suppliers. Our customer base has grown, many are very loyal and come back time and time again.
