How can I remove unwanted items from my shopping bag?
You can only remove or change the quantity of an item by clicking on the click on shopping bag to edit your shopping bag icon. If you have already clicked on 'Checkout' and found that there is a mistake in your shopping bag, you will have to click on 'cancel' and return to the catalogue. You must then click on the 'shopping bag' icon and edit the item in question. Once you are happy with what you have in your shopping bag you can proceed to the 'checkout'. [top]

How to set your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape etc.) to accept 'cookies'

In order to place an item in your shopping bag, your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape etc) needs to be setup to accept 'cookies' (small text files that store the product information - item,size,color,quantity etc).

With Netscape Naviator 4, click on
  • Edit ->Preferences ->Advanced

With Microsoft Internet Explorer, click on
  • Internet Explorer 4 : View ->Internet Options -> Advanced
  • Internet Explorer 5 : Tools ->Internet Options ->Security ->                                 Internet -> Custom Levels

  • Internet Explorer 6 : Tools ->Internet Options -> Privacy ->                                 Medium

            IE6 settings

Microsoft has enhanced Internet Explorer by adding innovative new privacy features in Internet Explorer 6. One important new feature is how Internet Explorer 6 handles cookie filtering. It is now easier for you to see what Web sites are doing with cookies, view their privacy statements, and manage cookies. The default setting recommended by Microsoft is 'Medium', since many electronic commerce sites depend on the use of 'cookies' to fulfill orders. [top]

Shopping using Norton Firewall
We use Actinic Software for our online catalogue and unfortunately a bug in this software means that shoppers trying to place orders with Norton Firewall enabled will also find that their 'shopping bag' remains empty. Unfortunately the only solution to this is to 'disable' your firewall while you place your order. Since we use WorldPay to accept our credit card payments, there is no risk to any of your personal information. [top]
